Spamming:

Spam is repeated posting of the same message, especially promoting some particular message. We hate spam. Spammers will be warned once, then removed.

Profanity:

We ask that you refrain from using profane or offensive language. Members who are verbally abusive to others will be warned of their possible removal should she or he continue. This policy is somewhat more relaxed in the off-topic boards, but keep it PG-13.

Prohibited Material:

Obscene, libelous, or copyrighted material from other published sources posted without permission will be immediately removed.

Links and Recommendations:

Links to other forums and commercial sites are permitted at the discretion of Aquatic-Hobbyist Admin. If you wish to use such a link in your signature here please contact the admins via private message on the forum or via email. We do encourage the free exchange of information regarding aquarium products and vendors. We DO however, ask that you express only your opinions and experiences in assessment of such products and services. Trashing of any individual or company leaves Aquatic-Hobbyist open to liability and cannot be tolerated.

Profiles:

Links to pornographic or inappropriate sites will not be tolerated, nor will we tolerate links to sites that advertise inappropriate material. Any such post will result in the deletion of that post, and the user will be warned. Aquatic Hobbyist reserves the right to remove any link at any time for any reason.

Removal:

Aquatic Hobbyist retains the right to remove any user for any reason. If a former member feels they were removed wrongly, please email admin, quoting your account name in the message explaining why you think you should not have been removed.
